Position: Front Desk Representative
Job Description: A front desk representative represents the first point of contact with guests, and handles all stages of a guests stay. A typical day at the front desk involves registering/booking guests in and out of their rooms, as well as accommodating any special requests. At La Quinta, the front desk rep wears many hats. You will also be expect to do some minor cleaning, at times assisting the laundry staff or breakfast attendants as well. You will also be in charge of all transactions from the market place at our facility.

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Good time management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Basic addition and subtraction skills
- Pay starting at 8$ an hour
- Opportunity for advancement, and pay raises
- With a college degree you are able to apply for entry level management positions at any La Quinta location
- Advancement in my customer service skills
- Learning the inner workings of the hotel business, and all the different departments that make the operation run smoothly as a whole
- Gained knowledge and understanding of the computer system La Quinta uses for their every day functioning
- Assisted working in many different positions within the hotel including front desk representative, laundry attendant, and breakfast staff
- Completed 400+ hours of internship for University credit, for the spring semester of 2018
